Hibiscus Flower Powder

The Ingredient Library · Powders, Clays & Minerals

What it is

Hibiscus flower powder is made from dried, finely milled hibiscus petals. The bright burgundy of the fresh flower softens into a muted dusty-rose color as a powder, and the fragrance is faintly tart and floral. In folk skincare traditions, hibiscus has often been called the botox plant for its long association with the look of supple skin.

Why we use it

Because the naturally-occurring acids in hibiscus offer a soft, plant-based gentleness that is well-suited to a powder cleanser. It contributes a subtle polish without harshness. And it gives Radiant Reset a soft pink-cream color that customers often comment on when they open the jar.

What it offers your skin

A folk traditional companion for the look of supple, comfortable skin. A naturally gentle botanical presence. A whisper of warm color in the jar.
