Nightfall

The evening balm of The Radiant Hours. Whipped tallow body care for dry, stressed skin and the moment the day finally lets you go.

Who it's for

For dry, stressed, comfort-seeking skin that wants richer nourishment at the end of the day. For skin that feels overdrawn, overexposed, or simply as tired as you do.

Especially beautiful for evening use after a shower or bath, when your body wants something soft, warm, and settling before bed.

Part of The Radiant Hours Trio, alongside First Light and Golden Hour.

The experience

Whipped and pillowy at first touch, then melting into a richer, more enveloping finish than its morning sister. Comfort you can still feel when the lights are out.

The scent is dusky and calming: lavender folded into warm vanilla, frankincense beneath it, and the soft amber sweetness of benzoin underneath it all. The scent of permission to rest.

What's inside, and why it matters for dry, stressed skin

Grass-fed beef tallow

The base that makes the whole balm feel deeply compatible with skin. Tallow's fatty acid profile closely mirrors your own skin's lipids, which is why it feels so naturally comforting on dry or overworked skin.

Jojoba + squalane

Together they soften the richness of the balm so it glides beautifully, absorbs cleanly, and leaves skin nourished instead of waxy.

Borage seed, rosehip, and tamanu

A deeper, more restorative oil trio chosen for skin that feels stressed, thirsty, or overdrawn. The effect is comfort first, then softness, then that settled feeling your skin keeps until morning.

Lavender, vanilla, frankincense, and benzoin

Not just a scent profile, but a mood. Nightfall is made to help the body feel the day is done: floral, resinous, warm, and quietly grounding.

Your ritual

After your evening shower or bath, while skin is still slightly damp, warm a small scoop between your palms and press into arms, legs, shoulders, and anywhere skin feels dry or stressed. Breathe the lavender in slowly. Lights down. Day done.

What to expect

First use: Skin feels deeply nourished, soft, and settled. Not coated, not greasy - just wrapped.

First 1-2 weeks: Most women notice the ritual itself becoming part of the draw. Nightfall is as much about how the body unwinds as how the skin feels after.

Longer term: Skin that has felt chronically dry or overtaxed begins to feel more supported, less reactive to the day, and more able to hold softness overnight.

If anything feels off at any point, patch test first and discontinue if irritation occurs.

Honest answers to common questions

Is this only for night?

Not strictly. But it was built with evening in mind - richer, warmer, and more enveloping than a morning balm. If your skin wants comfort during the day, use it whenever you need it.

Will it feel too heavy?

Nightfall is the richest of the three body balms, but the whipped texture and squalane keep it from feeling dense or sticky. It should feel comforting, not smothering.

Pregnancy or nursing safe?

Because this balm contains essential oils and botanicals, the safest route is to run the ingredients by your doctor or midwife if you're pregnant or nursing.

Can I use this if my skin runs sensitive?

Many women with dry or sensitive-leaning skin enjoy Nightfall, but if your skin is highly reactive, patch test first and check the ingredients against anything you know you do not tolerate.
