Vitamin E (Tocopherol)

The Ingredient Library · Actives & Antioxidants

What it is

Vitamin E is the umbrella name for a family of fat-soluble antioxidants, of which tocopherol is the most active. In skincare, it shows up in tiny amounts as the quiet guardian of every botanical oil in the formula. Without it, plant oils oxidize over time and lose their character. With it, they stay fresh longer and your skin gets the benefit of how those botanicals were meant to behave.

Why we use it

Because we believe in ingredient integrity. Nothing we make is shelf-stable for years, but we want every jar to be as alive on day sixty as it was on day one. Vitamin E quietly does that work. It also has a long, gentle history on skin itself as a comforter and conditioner.

What it offers your skin

The antioxidant guardian behind every botanical oil in every formula. A gentle, time-tested presence on skin. Freshness in a jar that does not contain preservatives.
