What it is
Black seed oil comes from Nigella sativa, sometimes called nigella, kalonji, or the seed of blessing in the cultures that have used it for thousands of years. It is one of the oldest cherished botanicals in human history, mentioned in ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Islamic traditions. The oil pressed from the small black seeds carries a warm, slightly spicy aroma and a dark amber color.
Why we use it
For its long association with scalp and skin care across multiple traditions. Black seed oil is the kind of ingredient that earns its place not through marketing but through centuries of consistent use. We include it in our Radiant Root Hair and Scalp Serum where its traditional reputation and warming character both belong.
What it offers your skin
A storied traditional companion for scalp care. A warming aromatic presence that comes from real plant chemistry. A lipid-rich oil for skin that asks for nourishment with character.
