The Clear + Rescue Ritual

Reset. Clear. Rescue. A three-step botanical ritual for breakout-prone skin that wants clarity without the harshness.

Who it's for

For skin that breaks out but can't take the usual acne routine. If harsh cleansers and drying spot treatments have left your skin tight, red, flaky, and somehow both oily and dry at once, this ritual takes a different path.

Made for blemish-prone, congested, combination, and reactive skin, including the adult and hormonal-looking breakouts that don't respond to being stripped and scrubbed. If your skin is easily irritated but still prone to congestion, this was built for you.

The whole idea in one line: you don't have to punish your skin to help it look clear. Instead of attacking blemish-prone skin, this ritual cleanses it gently, supports its barrier, feeds it nourishing botanicals, and gives you a separate, more intensive balm for the spots that need extra attention.

A gentler way to care for breakout-prone skin

Most blemish systems are built around stripping, drying, and aggressively treating the skin. Radiant Roots takes the opposite approach: we support blemish-prone skin rather than fight it. Three products, three clear jobs, one simple rhythm.

The three steps

Step 1 · Reset

Radiant Reset — gentle powder cleanser + mask

The clean canvas. A soft botanical powder you activate with water, made with colloidal oatmeal, marshmallow root, and hibiscus flower powder to cleanse thoroughly without leaving skin stripped or tight. Use it daily as a cleanser, or mix it thicker and let it rest a few minutes as a gentle mask. For blemish-prone skin, the goal isn't to scrub, it's to cleanse gently so the next steps can do their work.

Step 2 · Clear

Radiant Clear — the everyday balm

Your daily step. A soft, blue-tinted tallow balm that melts in clear, made for breakout-prone skin that wants moisture and balance, not dryness. Grass-fed tallow, squalane, and jojoba give a nourishing lipid-rich base, while non-nano zinc, tea tree, blue tansy, frankincense, and bisabolol support the look of calmer, more balanced skin. Press a small amount into slightly damp skin, especially where you tend to get congested. It gives blemish-prone skin moisture, barrier support, and targeted botanicals all at once.

Step 3 · Rescue

Skin Rescue — the intensive spot balm

The jar you reach for when one area needs more. A dense, protective botanical balm with plantain, calendula, and tamanu for the look of stressed, blemished skin, plus zinc and bentonite clay for a drier, more targeted finish than a regular moisturizer. This is the spot step: dab a tiny amount directly onto individual blemishes or areas that look angry and irritated, as needed, rather than over the whole face.

Radiant Clear is your daily clarity, moisture, and balance. Skin Rescue is your targeted, intensive support. That's what makes them complementary rather than redundant.

Your ritual

1. Reset. Cleanse gently with Radiant Reset, morning and night. Remove the day's buildup without stripping, and prep the skin for what follows.

2. Clear. Press a small amount of Radiant Clear into slightly damp skin. This is your everyday balancing balm for breakout-prone areas.

3. Rescue. Dab a tiny amount of Skin Rescue directly onto individual blemishes or stressed spots, as needed. Use it where you need it, not all over.

What to expect

First few days: skin feels cleaner but not tight, comfortable rather than stripped. The difference from harsher routines is immediate.

First few weeks: with gentle, consistent care, breakout-prone skin tends to look calmer and more balanced, and the spots you treat with Skin Rescue feel more supported.

Over time: a simple rhythm your skin can actually keep up with, clarity without the cycle of stripping and rebound.

Everyone's skin is different. Patch test first, and discontinue any product if irritation occurs.

Honest answers to common questions

How is this different from a regular acne routine?

Most blemish routines work by stripping and drying the skin. This one supports it instead, gentle cleansing, a nourishing daily balm, and a targeted spot balm, so your skin gets clarity without feeling tight, raw, or irritated. These are cosmetic skincare products made to support the look of clearer, calmer skin.

Do I use Radiant Clear and Skin Rescue at the same time?

Yes, they do different jobs. Radiant Clear is your everyday all-over balm for breakout-prone skin. Skin Rescue is the more intensive balm you dab only onto individual spots or stressed areas that need extra attention. Clear is daily and broad; Rescue is targeted and occasional.

Will tallow break me out?

Most people find tallow non-comedogenic because it's so similar to skin's own oils, and both Radiant Clear and Skin Rescue were formulated with breakout-prone skin in mind. Everyone is different, so patch test a small area first before regular use.

Is it safe during pregnancy, or for a tree-nut allergy?

Skin Rescue contains tamanu (a tree-nut oil) and essential oils, so please skip this set with a tree-nut allergy, and check with your provider during pregnancy or nursing. Radiant Reset contains colloidal oatmeal (avoid with an oat allergy).

What's included

A complete three-step ritual: Radiant Reset (2 oz), Radiant Clear (2 oz), and Skin Rescue (1 oz), bundled together at a saving over buying each on its own. Handcrafted in small batches in McKinney, Texas.

Allergen note: this set contains tamanu (a tree-nut oil, in Skin Rescue), colloidal oatmeal (in Radiant Reset), and essential oils including tea tree and blue tansy. See each product page for full ingredient lists.
