The Dry Skin Ritual
A Radiant Roots Ritual · Face
Who this ritual is for
You wash your face and it feels tight before you have even reached for the towel. Lotion disappears by lunchtime. Your skin drinks up everything you give it and asks for more. This ritual is for thirsty skin — the kind that needs nourishment that stays, not moisture that evaporates.
Why this ritual exists
Most moisturizers are mostly water — and water evaporates, taking comfort with it. Our approach is anhydrous: water-free formulas built on grass-fed tallow, applied over damp skin so nourishment is sealed in rather than rinsed away. It is the way skin was cared for before skincare was manufactured.
The ritual, in order

Step 1 · Radiant Reset Powder Cleanser
Colloidal oat, white kaolin, and marshmallow root. Skin feels clean without feeling stripped — the gentle slate every ritual begins with.

Step 2 · Nourishing Tallow Balm
Grass-fed tallow with frankincense. Pressed into damp skin, it seals comfort in for hours — deep, lasting nourishment that modern moisturizers only imitate.

For hard-working hands · Radiant Restore
Calendula, arnica, and rosehip for hands and heels that do the most. An optional third step for whole-day comfort.

Morning: Mix half a teaspoon of Radiant Reset with water, massage over damp skin, rinse. Press a small amount of Nourishing Tallow Balm into skin while still damp.
Evening: Cleanse again, then a slightly more generous layer of balm — your skin does its quiet work overnight.
The secret: damp skin. The balm seals in the water already on your face — that is where lasting comfort comes from.

Why does skin stay thirsty even when you moisturize daily? Often because moisture is being added but never sealed. Articles on dry skin and the sealed-moisture approach are coming to our Wellness Journals.
