Pomegranate Seed Oil

The Ingredient Library · Botanical & Seed Oils

What it is

Pomegranate seed oil is exactly what it sounds like, pressed from the seeds inside the ruby-red fruit. The seeds themselves are small and pale, but the oil that comes out of them is amber-golden and remarkable. It takes a great many pomegranates to produce a small amount of oil, which is part of why this ingredient is precious.

Why we use it

For glow. Pomegranate seed oil has a luminous, almost-shimmering quality on skin that no other oil quite matches. It feels light, smells faintly sweet, and turns a body balm into something that catches the light. It is one of those rare ingredients that genuinely earns the word luxurious.

What it offers your skin

A soft luminosity. Antioxidant-rich nourishment. A naturally light feel that suits even warm-weather skincare.
